Terry Kyle is the Australian co-founder of WPX.net, an independent, 12 year-old, high-speed WordPress hosting company that employs 100+ staff in Sofia, Bulgaria, where he has lived for the past 13 years, with his Bulgarian wife, Yuliya, 10 rescue cats + 3 dogs.

Terry is also the founder of EveryDogMatters.org, a nonprofit NGO that has been caring for 500+ homeless dogs every day since 2016, across 3 locations in Bulgaria, particularly its main shelter on 27,000 m2 (roughly 6.5 acres) where 140 rescue dogs currently live in Kostinbrod (opened in 2020). 

He is also the creator and host of the YouTube channel, Dog Shelter Diary, that tells the story of our large-yard dog shelter.

His book, High Impact Habits: A 30-Day Playbook To Transform Your Life & Transform Your Organization, looks at personal AND organization habits from an entrepreneur’s perspective, based on his 40+ years of successful business experience.  In 2025, Terry spoke at several business events in Sofia and Shenzhen, China. In 2026, he will be speaking at SEO Estonia.

  • most rescue dog NGOs, nonprofits and dog shelters in the world lack not only the financial resources to multiply their impact in the world but, more importantly, they usually lack the digital skills (like AI) or literacy to amplify their positive work

  • in contrast, our nonprofit, EveryDogMatters.org is directly and indirectly funded by our successful WordPress hosting company, WPX.net, so we aren’t financially vulnerable like most dog shelters and organizations

  • we also use the skills gained from our digital business experience, including AI, at WPX.net to provide more leverage to our work

  • this entrepreneurship and AI-driven thinking applies to such work as increasing successful rescue dog adoption by content optimization on YouTube, LinkedIn (e.g. to promote company teambuilding days at our shelter), podcasts, Instagram, TikTok and BlueSky + relentless online media promotion (e.g. our Dog Shelter Diary channel on YouTube) – examples given of these during the presentation
